There are ample facilities for golf, squash, tennis, boating and fishing; delegates may take a short drive, through coffee and banana plantations, go to Arusha National Park, at the foot of Mount Meru, where buffalo, elephant, giraffe, warthog, buck and monkeys roam amongst the lakes. The conference centre also provides tours to the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, to Lake Manyara, to Ngorongoro Crater, to Serengeti National Park and to many more nearby attractions. They can even arrange climbing expeditions up Kilimanjaro while, within an hour, delegates could be lazing on some of the world's most glorious beaches along the palm-fringed shores of the Indian Ocean. Within the conference complex, the Simba Plenary Hall has seating for 800 up to 1000 delegates and can provide a simultaneous interpretation system in seven languages.
